Covering a large surface, the wines of Pays des Côtes de Gascogne are mechanically harvested.

The white wines:

Fresh, aromatic, the white wines are made of different wines which mix the characters of each grape variety:

- fruit and freshness of colombard
- freshness and floral of sauvignon
- soft and full and structure of ugniblanc, chardonnay and listan.

In 1979, during a trip to California, André DUBOSC (General director of Producteurs Plaimont) and André DAGUIN (famous Gascon chef) noticed the potential of their grape variety ‘French colombard’ which, there, represented the first production of Californian white wine, when at that time, it was only used for the production of Armagnac here. The challenge had to be taken up and a few years later, Colombelle Plaimont was created. It is a fresh and fruity white wine, easy to drink, with the specificity to be a new season’s wine (October).

The red wines:
The red wines are also made of different wines using the following grape varieties: Tannat which gives to the wine its structure and its fruity taste, Cabernet bringing spices and freshness and Merlot for its aromas of fresh fruit and its lightness.
